The Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association is having a very exciting day tomorrow, we are celebrating the completion of the Chamber Legacy Statue to commemorate the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association’s 100 years of service to the Steamboat Springs community. From mining to ranching to skiing, the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association has continued to seek way to educate, promote and advocate for a strong and vital economy. The piece of art is drawn by Suzie Jackson and sculpted by Sandra Graves, both local artists. The piece has been installed on the 5th Street corner of the Routt County Courthouse lawn and will be unveiled on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 to celebrate our centennial. It will be a gift to the Steamboat Springs community from the businesses that have and will continue to serve as the foundation of the economic well being of this community. Please stop by and help us celebrate tomorrow evening from 5-7pm.
